Parker the explorer!

We put up a gate so that i can lock the kids in their side of the house. Both of their bedrooms are right there, so they play back there while i play elsewhere.
he found this hat in a winter box of hand-me-downs, and Emma thought it would be funny to put it on him, i guess he thought it was funny too.
Parker is such an easygoing kid, he will sit in his room and play by himself for an hour. He also loves to explore the house by himself. He doesn't need me to hold him all the time now. Crawling is new found independence for this kid. He just loves to chase the girls around and now has the ability to get away from Cate if needed (and it usually is).

This is a video of the first week of crawling, we were actually moving in that day and he was crawling everywhere. I love the part at the end were he gets excited and then Emma comes around the corner, he loves both of his sisters! Sorry about the video being sideways, i didn't notice it was until it was downloaded!

P.S I just watched the video and its the wrong one, but its cute too....i will have to post the other one later

Home Sweet Home

This is Parker in all his cuteness, he loves his bath!
This is the entry way of our new house, we decided to go with a neutral grey in the living room, kitchen and entryway, i really like it.
This is a shot of the kitchen, we got a new fridge!!I love it!! and i love having nice cabinets.
Here is half of the family room
and the other half. Keep in mid we are still in the process of decorating, i ran out of money so there are a few things left undone. And Richard has a lot on his plate with the house too. He still needs to hang my chandelier above the kitchen table. Plus the girls really want him to put up the trampoline that my parents bought the kids for their birthdays.
This is the front of the house, all the bushes and trees are babies, so they are super small. I planted hydrangeas, gardenia, and dailies so far. The trees are really pretty and in the fall they turn red! I cant wait till next year, they will look a lot better.

oooppps....i lost my battery

I found my battery charger for my camers YAAAAAAAAA!......but i cant find the battery, oops.
Well there hasn't really been a lot going on here, we have just been continuing to settle in and have all the boxes unpacked. We finished painting except for bedrooms, we ran out of money. We have a lot of plans coming up to be excited over, but i will save those so i can post more later. I have been working with Cate on her alphabet and her numbers. I got a big poster board wrote all the letters and numbers (up to 15) on it and we try to go through it every day. Emma has had Pre school camp this week, which has opened up more time to spend with Cate. She is really smart but doesn't like to perform on command, so if i ask her to sing the ABC's she wont even look at me. But she will sing them all by herself. Cate also loves Enchanted, she sings all the songs and dances, its pretty cute. Her new thing is talking to herself in the car. She will just sit there and mumble the whole time we are in the car, i have even caught her laughing at herself, she must have said something funny.
Emma is really excited about kindergarten and will start on the 13th. She already picked out a backpack, she choose a little pet shop one( i don't really know what those are). She cant wait to ride the bus. I am a little sad that she is going for full day, it just seems really long. She tends to get overwhelmed so i hope she will be OK.
Parker is crawling really well and standing up on his own. But i still think he is a couple of months from walking. His sleep schedule is really messed up, he is refusing to take naps and isn't sleeping all that long at night. I thought he was teething, but now I'm unsure (no teeth).
Me and Richard have been just working around the house and trying to keep up with the kids and cleaning. We seem to have things to do every night, with Tee-ball, elders quorum and young women's its getting out of hand. We have decided to go to Cincinnati this Saturday and play around, minus kids. I really want to go bungee jumping, but Richard is scared it will hurt his back, but I'm trying to convince him. We both really love this area, i cant get over the beautiful trees, i go running on this road that is just covered with these amazing trees and thats what keeps me running. I just wish we could have found a house with big trees, that's all his house is missing. I love this house more everyday, its so nice and clean and perfect, nothing needs to be fixed......love it!
i think that's all for right now, i am hoping to get a battery this weekend and then i can post about the house!

SWEEEEETTT

well i cant find my camera charger so I'm lacking in pictures. But the last couple weeks have been very productive. We did move into our new house, that i actually love. The floor plan is the exact one that i have always wanted to have, very open with a big living space and Smaler edrooms. # bedrooms and 2 baths. The kitchen and family room are one big room with a nice counter you can sit at(if i had stools). The yard is a nice size with new sod, so we have been watering like crazy. We are still painting the inside, we have the entryway to finish and then the bedrooms.
On to the kids, Emma is officially signed up for kindergarten. She will be going to Lagrange Elementary, The leopards! She gets to go full day and ride the bus. The will pick her up outside our house(hopefully). I have never ridden on a school bus and i hope Emma will like it. They have a teacher ride with the kindergartners everyday and they have assigned, so i feel OK about it. She is super excited and asks me everyday to go to school, I'm glad we moved here, i think that this school is really going to mesh well with her. Emma also got a physical and she weighs 44lbs. and 44 inches . She is in the 75%. She is getting big.
Cate is still her fun lovin' self. She is starting to thin out and get taller. She is wearing all Emma's clothes now. They are to big for her not not by much. Our neighbors have a swing set and she spends most of her day on the swing, she does the superman style best. Her new favorite juice is V8 splash, she could drink the whole thing i one day, unfortunately its pretty expensive. She is staring to act so big and is learning to use her words instead of screaming. She is talking nonstop and is really good, she just wont talk on the phone well, so no one believes me.
Parker is crawling, he started the last week of June. That was the week that i needed to work on the rental and Richard was out of town, he just thought it was good timing, i didn't feel the same. But he was really slow at first, but now he is fast and so happy. He will just play in his room all by himself and his toys. He is just so content, I'm so glad that he is because if he was like Cate i would be physically exhausted everyday. I did get to take a video of him crawling before my camera died. When he crawls he does this funny thing with his leg, he keeps his right leg bent in the front of him so that when he wants to sit down he doesn't have to move that leg at all, Richard says he is a genius i think he is lazy! He also had a apt. with an optomologist, for his eye. He had congenital ptosis. Its were the muscle of the eye lid is week. It does not hurt hie vision at all so i think he will be fine. Also when he gets older the facial muscle will get stronger and his eye should get better. He will probably have a little bit of a droop but its is not that noticeable, plus Matt Damon has it so its HOT!
