Labor Day Weekend

We had a fantastic time in San Diego this weekend. The drive was long but well worth it. We were a little disappointed in the weather, we were hoping for the low 70's but instead got mid 80's. But that is still 20 degrees cooler then here. Plus the air quality is amazing, i didn't have any allergies the whole weekend. We had a blast at the beach and playing at the park.

The kids loved playing with their cousin. WOW! they got along so well it was truly amazing. Mia is the cutest thing around. I think she said Emma's name about a million times. She followed Emma around the whole time, and Emma followed Uncle Chris and aunt Emily the whole time. Emma definitely has a big attachment to her aunt and uncle. Richard swears that Cate ignored him the whole time, she was attached to Chris. We got some great lovin' from Mia but we don't hold a candle to Emma. It was so great to play in the water and sand. Emma, Chris, and Richard built a sand castle. But really it was the boys who did it. Emma pretty much just raked the sand. Emma and Cate both loved the water. Cate fell face first into the wet sand and she was then done with all things, she just wanted to go home after that. We love San Diego and anything having to do with the Wignalls. Its nice to be home, but its way to hot here!!!!
