Random thoughts

Well not alot has been happening, but i thought I should post a few thoughts.

I feel such respect for all single moms and moms who husbands are either out of town alot or work alot. Its harder then you think, getting no help with any daily activity is straining and draining.

Gotta love the Y. We joined the YMCA and we love it. Me and the girls love playing and swimming everyday. Richard has not been able to go.

Parker = no sleep. He is being really fussy, especially at night, and wants to be held constantly. Not just "held" but held in the way he feels is correct, me standing, him facing out and me rocking back and forth.

Cate is talking alot lately. She is putting words together like crazy. Her new favorite sentenses are-
press play on the movie, which comes out like, "pess pay o moby"
"emma where are you", comes out like, "memo R U"
"the baby is crying", comes out like, "baby es Cying"
I would like a snack please, well that actaully comes out in a physical action, she gets into my pantry and climbs to the top.

Emma is learning more every day, she is so smart and loves to sing, and she doese sing all day long. She learns new songs at preschool and adds more verses to it through out the day. She is so cuddly i have to tell her to stop kissing me, after 10 minutes of kisses and loves.

We finally got new matteres for the girls so we can now put up Cates big girl bed. Parker slept in the crib for the first time last night and i think he liked the space. He has been in the bassinet all this time (not entirely a safe place when he kicks around). Cates bed is not set up its just a mattres on the floor. Richard has been really busy. It has taken a week just to get the mattres up the stairs and the crib switched to Parkers room.

The weather here is crazy, several tornados this week and 90 mile an hour winds. So far the tornados have not been in our area, so we are all O.K.

Oh, i keep forgetting ot post about our house. Our little house in Cali, was broken into. It is vacant and so i guess a pack of wild teenagers thought it would be fun to break into it. They thrashed the place with paint and put holes in the walls. There is also graffitti everywhere. We do have homeowners in surance so it will cover the damages, so i guess it will be fine. I have pictures of the house but i cant seem to find them.

HOLY COW about the house. That totally stinks! I'm glad parker is finally getting a real baby bed, he'll start sleeping better..no doubt. :) Unless he just likes being mean to his mommy.

I'm excited for Cate to get her big girl bed! I'm sure she'll love it, but that probably won't stop her from getting out of bed whenever she wants.

So, from the front of the house EVERYTHING looks great. Jocelyn told me about the break-in and I couldn't believe it!

Once it is repaired, ask the realtor to shut the blinds in the house so you can't tell as much that no one is there, maybe??

That's a bummer!
