War Birds In Action!

Today we had a very full day, we accompanied the boy scouts to the shafter air show. The girls had a blast. We watched loud planes do cool tricks and ate yummy food(that was my favorite part!). Emma loves planes and couldn't get enough of them. They were so close that she could see the pilots and wave to them. Richard took her to tour some of the really big ones. Cate had so much fun just wandering around and checking out the people. Richards boy scouts had a great time wandering around and looking at the planes. This picture is of Emma in front of one of the planes that was at the show. Also this is the plane that Richard's friend owns and took him up in last year. Emma was excited to finally see the orange pane that daddy went in. Cate was so tired by the end of the day that she fell asleep in her stroller and then bent at the waist and hit the asphalt. This resulted in a nice cut on top of her nose. She didn't cry though, she just fell back asleep. Richard is now calling her Scarface! After the long day was bath time and they like bath time as much as the field trip we had. We had a blast today and miss our family! Wish you were here!
